much needed book!

I thank Vickie Courtney for writing a book that every mother of a tween or teen girl ought to read. It is full of godly advise on how to stear our daughters through the maze of growing up amid this post-Christian era of easy sex, immorality, and immodesty.
It stresses that our daughter are God's girls, and that we are the caretakers of His Gift while under our care. Many Scriptures are used to back up her points, and much wise advise is given.
I ordered 10 of this book to lend to moms of my girl students!

Not what I thought

I was really hoping the author would give ideas on how to raise our daughters to be His girl. Instead it was proof after proof that the media/magazines etc put out the wrong message. I am already sold on that! I struggle with Christian moms who still knowing all this info can't say no to their daughters. I want help on what to say/do? I am now reading "5 conversations to have with your daughter" by Vicki Courtney and hope this book will offer the advice I am seeking from a Christian mother.

fantastic book. chapters are in the perfect order, just enough personal stories, Bible verses, and questions. just when you think of a question, she addresses it. every mom of a baby girl need this book to avoid having to unteach things later. then hang on to it for reference later.
